2012 Gingerbread House Event & Winners

In 2012 we held the 1st Gingerbread House Challenge in Newcastle - you helped us to raise an amazing £700.56 for The Sick Children's Trust -Thank you

Competition Winners:

Overall Winner: Dough-Mestic Novices, Stephen & Claire
Our winners received a glass trophy (donated by D&P Trophy's Washington)
& Picnic for 4 at Garden Kitchen (donated by Garden Kitchen)
Best Traditional Gingerbread House: Owen Hall, Iona
Won a trophy& Voucher (sponsored by Footprint PR)
Most Creative Gingerbread House: Little Miss Bake-A-Lot, Casey 
Won a trophy& Voucher (sponsored by Footprint PR)

On the day our edible street consisted of 26 teams, each built their own Gingerbread House in their own style and brought it to the street on Sunday 2nd December.
33 teams booked plots for the event however there was some naughty gingerbread & houses collapsed whilst being built/decorated.
